The lease/rental of Knights Land of Decatur is subject to the following Lease/rental terms and conditions:
- Knights Land Hall's base lease/rental fee is $700, and any additional services are in addition to this lease/rental fee.
- Lessor may terminate the reservation at any time without notice to lessee until the lease/rental agreement is signed and the deposit has been paid.
- A deposit of $200 is required when the lease/rental agreement is signed.
- Any event cancelled 5 months or more prior to reservation will receive a $100 refund.
- Events cancelled less than 5 months prior reservation date will not receive a refund of the deposit.
- The standard rental period is 5 hour in duration, typically from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm at a standard rate. There is an additional charge of $100 per hour for any event longer than the standard period.
- Catering is optional; however, any catering must be supplied by the lessor.
- No food may be brought into the Knights Land Hall.
- Catering services are separate from and are invoiced separately from the lease/rental agreement.
- Private events are permitted to request alcohol and bartending services and must be supplied by the lessor.
- No Alcohol may be brought into the Knights Land Hall. (I.E. "Carry-In")
- No one under the age of 21 will be served.
- Lessee assumes ALL liability and risks for itself and guests for damages to all persons or property on account of alcohol consumption. Lessee agrees to save ad hold lessor harmless from any and all such liability resulting from alcohol consumption by all lessee and all the guests.
- In the event that either the lessee or lessor requests police protection, lessee agrees to hire enough active or reserve officers to supervise the premises during the time of the lease/rental and to prevent inappropriate conduct.
- Lessee is responsible for observing guest arrivals and to deny entry to any unauthorized/uninvited persons.
- In the event of damages to the Lessor's property during the time of the lease/rental, Lessee acknowledges personal liability for such damages.
- Lessor reserves the right from time to time to amend or supplement said rules and regulations and to adopt and promulgate additional rules and regulations.
